Why We Do Them:
The Fever Panel is used to diagnose the cause of unexplained fever and identify any underlying infections or inflammatory conditions. CBC helps assess overall blood health, detecting infections or blood-related conditions. The Malaria antigen, Dengue NS1 antigen, and Typhoid tests are essential to pinpoint specific fever-causing infections. Urine analysis checks for urinary infections, which can also cause fever. Liver function tests monitor liver health, especially in infections that may affect the liver. CRP levels help detect inflammation, providing insights into the severity of the infection or inflammation causing the fever.
